A LITTLE CLARITY

Your visit. Your privacy.

We use simple activity counts to learn which music and merchandise people enjoy. Our custom statistics don’t build profiles of visitors.

What you type in search stays in your browser.

Before counting a search, the page converts it into a recognized song or artist from our published catalog, or a generic “other search” or “no matching videos” category. We don’t send your typed search text to our statistics database or put it in the page address.

What our custom statistics keep

We count recognized catalog names and search categories, whether a search found videos, and clicks on video, merchandise, and Ko-fi links. We keep the destination, where the link appeared, selected library filters, and the day of the activity.

These records contain no visitor names, email addresses, IP addresses, persistent visitor identifiers, or precise visit times. Random event identifiers prevent duplicate counts; they do not identify a person or connect separate visits. Our custom statistics use no advertising trackers or tracking cookies.

Browser privacy choices

Our activity tracking honors Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals when your browser provides them. Browser blockers and failed connections may also stop a count. A private owner test setting uses this browser’s local storage and keeps test activity separate.

Hosting and private areas

This site is hosted by OpenAI Sites. The hosting service provides its own traffic statistics and may retain connection and request logs, including IP addresses and browser information. Those are separate from the custom statistics described above.

Private areas use ChatGPT sign-in. The server receives signed-in account details to enforce access and recognize the owner. We do not copy those details into our activity statistics. This notice does not promise that the hosting service collects no information.

Images and external links

Some product images and video thumbnails load from external providers, which receive the network information needed to deliver them. Facebook, YouTube, Fourthwall, Ko-fi, and other linked sites handle visits, accounts, purchases, and donations under their own privacy practices. Following a link takes you to that provider.
